Mahsi to Two Valued Team Members
At Supporting Wellbeing, our work is only possible because of the incredible people who bring care, commitment, and heart into this project. Join us in celebrating two valued team members as they transition out of their staff roles with Supporting Wellbeing.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Maxine Lacorne who has been the Project Coordinator since Summer 2023. Over her time with Supporting Wellbeing, she played a critical role in strengthening our training delivery, coordinating logistics, building relationships with partner organizations, and helping our programs grow across communities. Maxine brought the warm auntie vibes to the office that we will miss!
We also want to send a heartfelt mahsi cho to Cole Hardisty who joined as our part-time Casual Training Coordinator at the beginning of 2026. Cole stepped in to fill a capacity gap at Supporting Wellbeing during our busiest programming time of the year. Their contributions helped us create more organized systems for coordinating trainings, providing support to community partners, and coordinating logistics for our annual in-person steering committee and advisory council meeting.
While we are sad to see them leave, we are also excited to support them in their future endeavours and the next chapters of their journeys. We know they will continue to make meaningful contributions wherever they go.
We are especially grateful that this is not a full goodbye. Both will continue to stay connected to Supporting Wellbeing through facilitation and emotional support contracting work. We are excited that participants and communities will continue to benefit from their knowledge, experience, and care in these roles.
Please join us in thanking them for everything they have contributed to Supporting Wellbeing. We are so appreciative of the time, passion, and wisdom they have shared with our team and communities.
With gratitude,
The Supporting Wellbeing Team
